Every Woodero piece is hand-finished from natural wood, which means small grain variations and tonal differences are part of the character of the product, not a flaw in it. Because of this, we ask customers to look closely at product photos and descriptions before ordering. That said, if something arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we will make it right — quickly, and at no cost to you.

This page covers everything you need to know about returning, exchanging, or cancelling an order with us, whether you're shopping from India or anywhere else in the world.


Returns

We accept returns only when an item is damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered. Because our products are handcrafted from solid wood, we're unable to offer returns for personal preference, minor natural grain variation, or a change of mind — this applies to both domestic and international orders.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to report a defect and request a return. This window is the same whether you're ordering from within India or from abroad.

Conditions That Must Be Met

For a return to be approved, please make sure:

  1. The issue is reported within 30 days of delivery.
  2. The product is unused and still has its original packaging, tags, and any protective coverings.
  3. Any free or promotional items that came with the order are included in the return.
  4. You can provide proof of purchase — your order number or receipt works fine.
  5. Clear photos or a short video of the damage or defect are shared with our team when you reach out.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email or call us at help.woodero@gmail.com or +91-9352850866 within 30 days of delivery, with photos/video of the issue and your order number.
  2. Our team will review the evidence and, if approved, issue a return authorization along with pickup or shipping instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging if possible, and write the return authorization number clearly on the outside of the box.
  4. For domestic orders, we'll arrange a free reverse pickup through our courier partner. For international orders, you'll ship the item back to us using a trackable courier service.
  5. Once the returned item reaches us, our quality team inspects it against the conditions above.
  6. If everything checks out, we process your refund to the original payment method, typically within 7–10 business days for domestic orders and within 30 days for international orders.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • Returns are free for verified defects — there's no deduction from your refund in this case.
  • Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • If a return doesn't meet the conditions above (used product, missing packaging, no proof of purchase), we reserve the right to decline it and send the item back to you.
  • We'll always communicate clearly with you at each step, so you're never left wondering where your return stands.

Exchanges

If your product arrived defective, or you'd like to exchange for a different size or variant, we're happy to help — with slightly different terms depending on the reason and your location.

Exchange Eligibility

  • Exchanges are available on both domestic and international orders.
  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and returned with all original packaging and tags intact.
  • Exchanges for defective items are completely free, regardless of where you're ordering from.
  • Exchanges requested for size or preference (not due to a defect) carry a processing fee:
    • Free of charge for domestic (India) orders.
    • $20 per item for international orders.
  • Because natural wood tone and grain can vary slightly from product photos due to lighting and display settings, we're unable to accept exchanges based on color differences alone.
  • Exchanges are only honored for orders placed directly through our official website, woodero.com.

How to Request an Exchange

  1. Reach out within 24–48 hours of delivery at help.woodero@gmail.com or +91-9352850866, or raise the request directly through our website. Include your order number and, if applicable, photos of the defect.
  2. If your exchange involves an international order and is not due to a defect, you'll receive payment instructions for the $20 processing fee — simply share a screenshot of the payment once it's done.
  3. Our team will arrange a reverse pickup through a trusted courier partner.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the original item, we'll dispatch your replacement.

If you choose to ship the item back to us yourself rather than waiting for pickup, please use a reputable courier and retain the AWB number and proof of dispatch — Woodero is not responsible for items lost in transit when shipped independently by the customer.


Cancellations

If You Want to Cancel

You can cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it, as long as it hasn't already been dispatched. Once your order has shipped, we're unable to process a cancellation — at that point, our return policy above would apply instead.

To cancel, email help.woodero@gmail.com or call +91-9352850866 with your order number as soon as possible. Refunds for cancelled orders are credited back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

If We Need to Cancel

Occasionally, we may need to cancel an order on our end — usually due to:

  • Stock running out unexpectedly
  • A payment that didn't go through successfully
  • Incomplete or incorrect shipping details
  • Circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)

If this happens, we'll notify you right away by email or phone, and you'll receive a full refund with no questions asked.
